The Importance of HVAC maintenance
7/2/2021 (Permalink)
It is very important to maintain your building’s HVAC system. Usually when these units malfunction, they create a lot of unwanted headaches for owners and tenants.
Regular maintenance will prevent costly repairs, save you money on the electricity bill, and improve the air quality of the building.
Ask the HVAC inspector to check for rusted drain pans, broken condensate pumps cracked heat exchangers (ask the HVAC company in advance to see if this test is included). If you need to replace a unit, look for the Energy Star label, to help the environment by lowering greenhouse gas emissions and meet energy efficiency guidelines.
