Flooding In Georgia

According to the World Economic Forum, “in the last 20 years, flooding has been the most common natural disaster by far, accounting for 43% of all recorded events.” We can completely understand this with all of the rain and floods we have been having in Georgia this summer! You wake up on a Saturday morning ready to relax by the pool or go to the lake after a busy week at the office, only to see the dark clouds glooming over you. You see the trees shaking from the gusts of wind blowing by and you hear the thunder in the distance. You hope that the storm will “blow over” quickly, but then it begins to pour. You watch as the water accumulates across your property and then, just like that, the water is now intruding into your home. Now are you not going to be able to spend your weekend outside enjoying a dip in the pool, but your basement has become your own personal swimming ground! Take the measures to prevent additional damage to your home or office, then call SERVPRO of Henry and Spalding Counties to properly take care of the damage that has already been done.
