Water Loss in Griffin, Spalding County
The loss was caused by a broken hot water heater line in the crawlspace. SERVPRO of Henry & Spalding Counties and SERVPRO of Clayton County technicians arrived to start the mitigation process. They discovered that the entire crawl space had been affected by the water damage. All insulation in the area was affected and had to be removed since it had started falling down into the crawlspace. 30 air movers and 4 dehumidifiers were placed to dry the structure from below. The crew pulled the old vapor barrier and replaced it with a polyethylene vapor barrier. The customer was happy with the results.
