Residential Storm Damage in McDonough, GA

After a thunderstorm caused a tree to fall on the roof of a home in McDonough, GA the rain proceeded to cause internal damages all throughout the home. Once the SERVPRO of Henry and Spalding Counties crew scoped the losses at this home they luckily found that the carpet flooring had no elevated moisture readings and the drywall ceiling was the only area that contained moisture. Once they established the damage they removed the drywall and insulation from the affected ceiling areas such as the affected bedroom ceiling shown in the pictures. The crew also made sure to place air movers on the impacted areas until the materials met their drying goals.
